Hurtigrutten

The landscape that came to my mind as I looked out over Lake Tanganyika was the fjords of Norway. The temperature of the water was fortunately a bit warmer than in Norwegian.

The road was long and beautiful. It winded over gently undulating semi-savannah, across the Fipa-plateau, past small friendly villages and through deep and damp forest.
