Collected our van from Desert Sky in Adelaide and drove home the 160 kms through a 5 kilometre three lane wide traffic jam and some welcome rain. Welcome rain, but WHY the day we collected our new toy?
Our truckie friend Shane was waiting to back it into our difficult driveway and supposedly into our carport. Despite having taken soil out to ensure it would fit, it is still 3 inches too high, the show special of an air-conditioner caused the height problems. We have the highest car port around, 3 metres - more excavation to go.
We have one week to get all the stuff from our dining room setttled into the van and vehicle before taking off to Queensland via the Barrier Highway. Today it is cold, wet and miserable. No work getting done here.

All looks very compact and comfortable. Jim's comment "Is there room for Graham's long legs in the van." The beauty is the size stops you from doing a Judith and taking far more clothes than are needed. My downfall would be books. I can see the need for a Kindle or other e-reader looming large. Look forward to lots of updates as you travel around. I'm turning green.
