Starting Point
As well as the ending point. Friends,
This is another post for George that he gave me permission to post along with his pictures.
As you can read from his email message, this was a last adventure just before departing the area, country and job assignment.
He enjoyed this endeavor much more that I would have for the hiking effort!
Enjoy.
"Family and Friends,
The time has come for me to leave Equatorial Guinea and return to Houston. It's hard to believe that more than a year has gone. I have had a great experience being here and now realizes just how blessed I am. I have meet and worked with some great people here. I will miss being here for I have also made some new friends and will miss the good times we had. This has been a great year and will be forever in my memory and on my tongue.
I will be leaving tonight and be back in Houston on Nov. 14. Look forward to seeing and catching up on what you all have been doing this past year as well.
Attached you will see what my last Sunday was like in Africa. I took
a 6 hours hiking trip up the mountian to Caldera Lake on the south side of the island. As you can see it was beautiful.
Will see you all soon,
George"
