Tuesday which was our last day in the area began at Heini's which is a huge cheese factory. This is a place the buses go. It can get very crowded but we were lucky and it was not busy when we were there. They have free samples of all of their cheeses including cream cheese fudge We took the things we bought back to the motorhome before going out for another ride. I wanted to go to another ca

Monday morning we had planned to go to Coshocton OH so that I could exercise at a Silver Sneakers location Colonial Sportsrsquon Courts. Irsquod recommend that location highly as the personnel were very helpful. They also had quite a large variety of equipment. I was able to do most of my routine and quit only because I was really tired and hot. There was no moving air in there. The drive

The Rally in Berlin is over

The weekend had just flown by. All of a sudden it was Sunday morning and again our hosts provided breakfast at the campground. Soon the motor homes were packed up and on the road heading home or wherever they were going. This time Jeff and I did not have to leave. We had made plans to stay for a few more days. Being Sunday in Amish country the sidewalks are pretty much rolled up. We went to th

Busy Day at the Rally

Saturday morning our hosts provided breakfast at the campground. There was fresh fruit muffins juice and coffee. There were four local chapters present so time had been set aside for chapters who wanted to hold meetings to do so. Then it was off to check out more of the area again before we gathered at The Farmstead Restaurant in Berlin again for a buffet Amish dinner. I guess I was more tired

The next morning was the first lsquoofficialrsquo event of the weekend. The hosts had arranged for us to have breakfast at The Farmstead Restaurant in Berlin. It was a fantastic buffet spread and was another opportunity to visit with the gang. After eating everyone went their different directions. We went to the little town of Charm so that I could check out Millers Dry Goods a wonderful qu

Thursday morning we headed out of the campground rather early for a nearby large indoor Amish Flea Market. Itrsquos quite a place. Wersquove been going to it for years and have always found something we just couldnrsquot live without. This is a lsquonewrsquo merchandise type of flea market and not the type that sells garage sale items. After walking all thru the flea market I wanted

Arrive in Berlin OH

We arrived in the beautiful Amish area of Berlin OH and got the motor home all set up at Scenic Hills RV Park. It was time to eat by the time we were finished so we drove to the nearby Swiss town of Sugarcreek OH for a fantastic chicken dinner at Beachy's. The reason we came to Berlin was for a rather large local Bounder our brand of motorhome rally. There were also a few other members who a
