The last morning that I spent in Philadelphia was more sightseeing. I had a couple of errands to run and then decided to stop and get some breakfast at a caf called Mrs Krsquos. Apparently it is quite well known to locals according to the woman I asked for a recommendation. The food was pretty much but as ever it was far too much for me to manage. To try and work some of the breakfast off I

We were blessed to be given a trip to Sandy Cove Ministries for a lovely weekend getaway. Sandy Cove is a resort in the tiny town of North East Maryland and lazily stretches along the coast of the Chesapeake Bay. The sprawling brick and whitesiding resort is bordered by the water on one side and buried within miles of forest on the others like a little world onto itself. We attend the Couple

In the morning a light rain was falling. When we took Daisy for a walk outside the camper we could hear a constant hissing sound. We figured out that it was the rain on the dry leaves that had covered the ground. We left eagerly in the rain to start our adv

We left Annapolis today for Solomons Island Maryland about 730 am. The sun was still low in the sky but it was warm with very light breezes out of the SW of course. Our course paralleled the main ship channel but a bit to starboard of it because the coast line is beautiful but lots of shallow areas. Just north of Solomons are some high sandy bluffs which were used for troop training during WW

A random memory but it came to me as I was packing my suitcase this morning and looked up to see a caricature of Jrocker I drew about two years ago. For our Japanese classes in university in the first through third year we were required to do skits at the end of each semester to illustrate our grasp of the Japanese language. And for me I always ended up doing the most random and insane things

Same amenities as on the way over but this time there was no one sitting next to me so I could lay down while I watched my movies. And the flight back was only 8 hours so I got to Seattle around 730am local time after leaving at 330pm the same day. Before I left Japan
