For 48 a night we ended up being upgraded to a private apartment with AC and a real hot shower the bed was wider than it was long. This type of normal living is not what we have been accustomed to It felt like we were on holiday We meandered down Linc

The beach itself was nice with loads of unique life guard huts and clean water. After our first dip in the Atlantic Ocean we strolled along the streets of shops and restaurants and grabbed some 2 tacos. We walked along the shore and took advantage of our last chance to sunbathe on this tr

Friday 22nd of June We didn't end up going out the last night as we never drink anymore before travel days. From experience nothing good can come from drinking before a travel day. Yet even though we didn't go out we both managed to sleep through all four of our alarms. This unfortunately meant that we us pair of silly fools missed breakfast. This wasn't good because we had a long trip to Key W

June 21stSo after a very eventful night for Richard losing his phone and all he thought it would be a good idea to get a replacement. An iPad. I think he had a little bit of iPad envy that spurred to make this purchase. To be fair you need something for the buses to keep you sane and distracted from the window lickers on the greyhound. So we headed off onto a pretty long walk to find the nearest

I don't think he has ever seen me that angry before I turned and swore agressivly towards him several times. I think I shocked him slightly. Anyway the fool thought it was twelve midday it was 730am. He needs to go back to primary school to learn how to tell the time. As it is the second tim

June 19th Like any other night in miami last night was a rough night. Rough but so good at the same time. Today we decided to show the Irish lads the all you can eat Italian. This in theory was a cracking idea but in reality when we got in and started eating we realised we were that hungover we really couldn't make the most of it. With every bite we ate the closer we came to throwing up. However I

June 18th Today we decided we would go watch the Irish guys gig at the Irish pub again. So me and Rich gathered up the hostel troops And headed to get the bus into Miami down town. By this time it was 5 pm and I still hadn't eaten due to being hungover most of the day. We walked in ordered 2 mains and a pint of Guinness. Whenever I have had Guinness before I have been drunk and not really tasted

June 17th I woke up exhausted as usual after a long chat the previous night with Rachael. For hours and hours I explained how I don't like how all over me she is in the day and that I didn't go on this trip to get into a relationship. I also explained that I like to watch the euros on tv in the day and her sitting on my lap when there are several spaces around is not appropriate. Also kissing my

Tonight we shall be snow patrol

June 16th Our aim for Miami is to go out every night that we could. This was 10 nights out in a row. We were both starting to feel the effects of drinking and averaging 4 hours sleep a night so far. The day started as per usual. Get up get water and make our way down to be ridiculed for last nights actions. Rich's shadow Rachel throughout our whole time here has been like a leach on his side.

June 15th Miami Again waking up feeling as rough as a badgers arse we headed down to the social area and start our routine. Go down get a lot of H20 in us and find Chris Dec and others on the porch all ready to converse about the stories of the night. This normally left us in stitches. Out of the four of us at least 2 would of done something they regret. This was obviously to the amusement of

My mouth like sandpaper and a voice more horse than red rum.Michael was feeling very similar it was going to be a long day. We headed to the sitting area to get a large cold drink from the water fountains we were both overheating badly. We headed outside into the sauna to find our Irish friends

We had woken with only a slight hangover just very tired. However Michael rightly insisted that we should get up as it was already 1130am.
We stayed at the Deauville Beach Resort on the recommendation of our travel agent. It was all the way up in North Beach and not in South Beach like we wanted but it was cheap and right on the beach. Parking was 7 blocks away at a city lot and this place made some mistakes. When we arrived the first weekend they gave us a key TO SOMEONE ELSE39S ROOM Thank goodness the occupants weren39t t
