Pete's sister asked us to bring Jonner and AJ this day to take them to Jungle Island. It is on the causeway going into Miami Beach right across from the cruise ships. The boys had day off from school so off we went..We picked up Tia Lu went to lunch at Mc Donalds where we made sure Tia was in between the boys you know no fighting. Then off we went to the park. It is kind of a small zoo. Hope

Miami BeachWe donrsquot have any photos of Miami and there is a reason for that. I have heard raving revues about the area but honestly I must have been in the wrong Miami either that or those people were on bloody commission. It looks like the town took a vote to banish all decorators and street cleaners as it looks like no maintenance has been carried out since the Scarface film crew left. T

Leaving London on a cold wet and wintry morning was probably fitting of what I was getting away from. Sitting on the tarmac in my extra wide seat catered for larger Americans I left all the stress of London life behind me and maybe a few essentials as well and looked forward to what is going to be an excting 6 months. Its one of the most exciting parts of the trip having absolutely no idea wha

Well everyone we made it to Miami. Arrived here on Wednesday afternoon dumped our bags in our room and hit the beach straight away. It didn't take us long though before we went on search for an Outback restaurant. It had actually changed location since the last time we were here however we managed to find it we had to walk about 10 blocks but I think Boucs was willing to walk 10 milesWe

We flew to Miami on Stacey's birthday and so gave her a dress from us all and went our to a nice dinner on Ocean on South Beach. It was an enjoyable evening and a nice place to celebrate it. That was pretty much all for the arrival day after the hassels of checking in. The following day was pretty chilled out also. I got my communication sorted for my time in the US and then wandered around and

Soooooo Miami beach a necessary stop on the OneWorld ticket. Not exactly the highlight for either of us so far A mediocre beach and a bit of a scruffy area. Also we are quite convinced that they may have closed a mental institution in the area recently judging by the number of crazies in town. For example no eyebrows raised when man bicycles through the mall with a chicken on his handlebars or

We took a taxi from the station and Cat nearly had a heart attack as the meter rolled past first 20 and then 30 up to nearly 40 There wasn't a great deal of choice in the matter there were not many buses from a deserted train station in an ind

The captain announced we had been lucky to allowed to land as all other flights ahd been redirected and the airport was closed to further take off and landing.
On July 5th morning we left Key West and started driving east bound on the Overseas Highway. We made a few stops at various vista points along the way. The 3 hours drive on the Overseas Highway also known as Florida Highway 1 is truly picturesque. Our first major stop was Bahia Honda State Park. This state park consists of a couple of beaches and a short walk to the broken old bridge overlook. B
