Our trip home went smoothly it was a long slow bus ride via a route I would not have taken. Greyhound has cut back on many of the cities they serve in the past few years. I had time to do a yoga class that made my muscles hurt in places that the hiking missed. I got to visit with my friends and catch up on our adventures to this point. I have been able to do a bit of work on my yard and flower beds I thought would go neglected this summer. We have gone over every piece of gear we are carrying and feel we now have the proper things for returning to the trail. We have trimmed at least five pounds from our packs each and a minimum of one pound off our boots.
