For example when the American revolution happened the French people saw and decided to up roar as well. After the French revolution came the Haitian revolution.
Day 70 Natadola beach

Today we decided to stop off at Natadola beach on our way back up to Nadi. It39s a spectacular beach that runs along a half moon bay. The waves are pretty big and slam against the beach in quite a scary fashion. I really wanted to do the horseriding here and after some persuasion from Joe and his horse Snow White I took to the saddle. I39d say Snow White was 14.2h and a slim build gentle

Despite being the 39capital39 and the largest city in Fiji Suva is actually pretty small. We started our walking tour down at the harbour by the handicraft market and continued up the main road past the town hall library and the Olympic swimming pool size not event. We then headed through the city gardens to the Fiji museum which has a really interesting display of culture and environmen

Day 67 Valentines Day and Lovu Dinner on the Coral Coast

After a really great sleep we popped our swim stuff on and headed down to the reception to pick up the kayaking gear. Because of the shallow reef you can only kayak at high tide 811am to ensure you don39t damage any coral. We had a relaxing kayak along the coast out towards the reef and back to shore again. I was very excited to see that when we39d gotten out of the water the horses had go

Unfortunately our day started with me wingeing at James to get a move on for our 8am bus which meant I disobeyed the rules of Fiji time After scoffing down our breakfast in 5 mins we jumped on the bus to Navua. We had booked ourselves onto the Jewel of Fiji day tour which would consist of a trip to a Fijian village and some activities in the Nausori highlands. Our first stop was the village a

Bula a word used by every person regardless of where they originate workers along the waterfront hotel guests and screaming school children. Meaning hello it39s the main Fijian word used where most people39s mother tongue is English. And boy did we hear it hundreds of times daily. Despite the fact we went nowhere Our flight from Auckland was a good one fairly good breakfast on the ear

Merry Christmas to all of you from our little family. This year we are spending Christmas and New Year in Fiji a first for the four of us. This is the first entry of a serie of three. Our first stop is in Aussie land on Denarau Island. We are spending our first five nights at the Sheraton Fiji Resort on Denarau Island. We had our tea in the hotel re

The Coconut Inn was full so we ended up in the South Seas Private Hotel that is cheap fairly clean and magnificently mediocre. We unpacked and nipped into town to develop some films.
The last day at school

When we were kids the last day of school was the best day ever. It meant summer. It meant long days playing outside with our friends and staying up late. It was everything we waited for during the school year. Today was my last day at the kindie and it was so bittersweet. All good things in life come to an end and as this did today I was so happy to have been a part of it. Sometimes in life

This week in school

This week in school has been hilarious The topic of the week is road safety. Overall its been a lot of when to cross the street why you should hold someone's hand why you should wear a seat belt in the car they only teach that you should wear one in the front seat. Then how to behave on the bus. This might be my favorite part...no sticking your head and arms out the window. I mean as
