On the way we stopped to check out Stone Henge built between 5000 and 3000 years ago. The purpose is unknown but many speculate that it may have been a burial site or a mark of extraterrestrial life. It has a beautiful beach complete with watersports. There isn't much going on in the evening in Playa Blanca. Timanfaya National Park is a must see in Lanarote. Most of the trip there is spent on the coach as you are not allowed to walk around the volcanoes.
