Oh San Marino. Since Michael had worked a week less than I had and was spending his last two weeks doing a microstate tour we had to go to San Marino while we were in Italy. He had already been to Andorra Monaco Liechtenstein and of course Vatican City. Not surprisingly therersquos really not a whole lot to do in San Marino.
WOW. Two blogs in two months I'm on a rollSpeaking of rolls try a caprese salad on a roll. The roundness makes it hard to eat but it's delicious And Abby enjoys watching me eat it because I have a systematic way of eating it. The system is not foolproof but it is under development. So on Wednesday I left for Rimini and San Marino. It was nice but I didn't achieve my goal of the trip basebal

18 Sept 2008After our not so enthralling visit to Bologna where we just didn't seem to get the combination right we were at odds as to what to do today. We didn't want to spend all day at the campground because Ky and I would soon get bored and the day was not looking amazing even though it was a little warmer. So shortly after lunch we drove out with the aim of going to Rimini south of Raven

King of the mountain

San Marino is a fascinating stopover in the centre of Italy. I took a train from Florence and then jumped on a connecting bus that gradually wound up to the summit of a hill where the tiny fortified republic lies. This tiny country swarms with tourists strolling the cobblestone streets that are packed with quality shopping gorgeous cathedrals and stunning views of the surrounding Italian countrys
