We had every intention of posting daily but by the time we got back to our room we fell asleep exhausted. Here are a few highlights of our days. Our first day was one of my favorite days. We headed to Huna beach one of the top 10 beaches in the world. We swam and after being sufficiently roasted headed up to the North end of

Hawaii FIne thanks.	The 6 hour flight from LA to Honolulu arrived just before midday. As we approached to land we were surprised at how big Oahu was and how many high rise buildings there were. At the airport we boarded the bus to Waikiki where we had booked a hostel just one block from Waikiki beach. After checking in we went for something to eat before getting our first taste of Hawaii's be

After visiting the Hawaiian Islands in 1997 I realized a deep connection with the culture and itrsquos people along with the landscapes and the surrounding ocean. My exgirlfriends parents sponsored my trip in 1997 so I stayed at the finest resorts and dined many of the most reputable restaurants on the islands. Next I traveled to Oahu in 2000 to attend the wedding of good friend of mine.

I made it to Kauai a few days ago. Spent much of Thurday settling in. Had to go to the storeroom and get the bike running. Started up with no problems. Took it for a ride to recharge the battery and had breakfast at the Tip Top. Not much changes there. Jackassed all my stuff back and forth to the condo in Poipu. Only a few yards from the beach. Not much of a room but thats fine. Bought the rental

The big island of Hawaii the youngest in the Hawaiian chain is my least favorite part of paradise. It is probably the endless black lava landscape that runs counter to my vision of paradise white sandy beaches lush green hillsides and valleys waterfalls and streams running through towns. Did I say white sand beaches There is only one here in Waikoloa. The rest are black sand beaches th

This was the case with all travelling days on this trip so we headed for an internet cafe to pass some time. As it was the last day and we had no kithchen anymore we actually ventured out to a 'real' restaurant in Chinatown for a fairwell supper before hitting the cinema. Whilst waiting to see the sunset on Mauna Loa volcano we got to see Jupiter. One of the rangers had a very powerful telescope and he let us have a look once he had set it up. First focus was on Venus and then on Jupiter. We could see the planet clearly with it's four moons in orbit. Brilliant

We put the hood down system pumping and tried not to look too gay in our car as we drove A tricky feat. When we arrived at the memorial we took our ticket and waited the hour or so until our tour started.
