Week of SKIING In Kaprun

I'm back after the longest week I've had here up until now. Last friday at 1000pm I left in a bus with a bunch of kids from the Ski Club and headed out to Kaprun Austria. It took about 8 hours or so we got there at 9 there next morning. The hotel was aweful for those who might have an idea of the conditions of most hotels in Hampton Beach N.H well it was bad. But I guess it was a youth hostile we

So we've been chilling both literally in figuratively in the Alps this past week. The actual place is St. Johann im Pongau but they don't have the location on this blog so I picked one close by.We've been staying in a nice hotel where once again we don't quite fit in but everyone's been real nice and we've met a couple cool people mostly much older than us. The view from our hotel room is

We came to Zell am See on a whim and found mountain paradise. Having never heard of this lakeside Austrian town the initial magical trainride deep into mountains blooming with Christmas trees hidden castles crumbling stone bridges over aweinspiring gorges was an adventure in itself.A personal pickup at the station by our friendly Irish BB hosts began 3 days of luxury. A room all to ourselves

We arrived at our apartment in the centre of Kaprun and headed straight to the hire shop to get kitted out and to buy our ski passes. We then tested out one of the local bars missing the supermarket and having to make do with freshly made ovenbaked pizzas oh well We spent that evening in the apartment as we were destined to spend every evening playing cards and sharing easter eggs Cad taug
