Playing Dolphin

The sky was clear and blue in the morning so we took another walk on the beach before we had to leave. Daisy investigated a dead horseshoecrab. Jodie had told us that one of the local delights was Tastykakes so we tried some small cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They were tasty. Jodie had told us that they were THE treat in Pennsylvania and Stephanie Plum from the Janet Evanovitch books loves them

So as of now I am at home.Which made me think of home in general. It's hard for me to call one place my home. I feel at home in Virginia Beach or my physical home I live in here. As well as when I go back to Washington state I feel at home at my Grandmother's house. And of course I feel right at home in Aiea Oahu Hawaii being that I have native Hawaiian blood in me and a lot of my Dad's

The Island

This past summer I traveled to Chincoteague Island. This is one of the best trip I have taken in years. This area is not your typical beach trip. Their are plenty of things to do other than go to bars and theme parks. So if you are into a busy trip full of shopping and roller coasters this would not be a place you wanted to visit. While we visited we crabbed and met lots of nice locals who show

We visited Jamestown Va during their 400 year celebration and on to Yorktown where we emersed ourselves in the history eeking from every corner of the town. We have a real sense of what sacrifices were made to create this great country

It's been a while since I added anything here but I've been in Cville the whole time. Exams finished up last week and I'm home for a few days now. Still waiting for grades...I'm going to be leaving Thursday for Arizona. We will be staying on the Hualapai Reservation and learning about tribal government. It should be very interesting and educative. After that I'll be home for a few days then
