Things have slowed down here since Vince and Kurtis left. They met up with their friends in Calgary and arrived safely in North Battleford early Friday Morning. we are still working out how to get them home on Monday but I am sure something will work out soon. The ski hill remains very busy and it takes a bit of artful planning to get up to the areas where there are less people and more snow.
The snow has come back again unfortunately so have all the people here at Panorama. If you can get through the initial lines the rest of the hill is fantastic. the skiing was truly phenomenal so I have added in a few pictures and a video of Troy. Returning in for lunch to another Canadian Junior win was another great gift. The end of a great ski day here and the people milling around outside of t

We are having a wonderful time. The beginning of the World junior Hockey Championships has changed the priorities here. Fortunately the Canadians won and everyone could return to the slopes happy. Not a picture was taken today so I canrsquot share anything too exciting. Quiet recovery day just the way a boxin

Christmas Day

Christmas morning started at 7 am. Plenty of presents for everyone was loads of fun.Vincersquos new skis were itching to get on the hill and Kelvin was happy to oblige after a day off and new snow. Many Star Wars and WII games kept Troy home for a bit. Kurtis was busy playing with his new phone. Troy Kurtis and I followed later but a bruise on my shin slowed me down too much to ski with everyon

Kelvinrsquos knee was too sore to ski today so I had to hold my own with these little ski devils. Fortunately they are more capable than me and can still have a good time wherever they ski.A little time in the hot tub sure felt good aprs ski.Christmas evening was a little supper and a bowling tournament on the WII. Kurtis beat us all but it was really fun. A couple of gifts and a game of Mono

First ski day

Our first day of skiing. We canrsquot seem to copy our video pictures but we will get some pictures to add tomorrow. The snow here is great and there are very few people so it feel like we have a private ski resort. Kelvin and Vince went out to the Taynton Bowl back side of the mountain and had a great time but worked very hard. Vince took a slight tumble and had to crawl back up the mountain

There seems to be a large number of things you need to bring to celebrate Christmas away from home.Going to Lloydminster or Park Valley is a lot of work but nothing compared to bringing all of our gifts ski stuff food clothes Christmas tree decorations video equipment etc etc.Our van was packed so high that once Troy was installed he couldnrsquot actually get out. However we made it safel
