Heidi and I have wanted to visit this network of caves for a while and with one of our friends on vacation and us left to carsit his ford falcon we headed up to the Blue Mountains for a day of spelunking. The weather was rain and mist so we decided to head to the Jenolan Caves a three hour drive from Sydney. The drive in the rain left side of the road through the mountains down to the caves was one of the most harrowing I have ever done but not boring The caves and the surrounding River Walk were amazing. Our friends Carolyn and Terry organized the entire weekend and it was quite the treat to not worry about planning driving or navigating We left school at 330 on Friday afternoon and arrived at Caves House just in time for dinner.
