Well I think Mrs. Verge would be proud... actually Mr. Sguin would be proud as he knows how much trouble I went through in high school trying to decipher Shakespeare He definitely had to lead me by the hand on all the ones we read... but either way I got the opportunity on Wednesday night to go see Hamlet at the Arts Centre in Melbourne. The production was put together by the Bell Shake

The Great Ocean Road drive is truly magnificent the views are excellent and the answer to the question is we think its actually only 11 apostles left Apparently some of the brochures we have seen tell us that one of the apostles fell into the sea in recent years The Great Ocean Road was constructed by some of the soldiers who returned from the first World War and is now one of the most tra

So lets start this blog with a confession many of you reading this who know me well will not be surprised by what I have to say. I am a big muppet huge enormous and incredibly dumb I was meant to go on a 3 day tour of the Great Ocean Road on Saturday. This would have taken me from Melbourne to Adelaide via numerous tourist attractions and sights. But me being me I managed to mess this up. Ye

We hired a 4wd Subaru Forrester which was dad's Impreza to begin our road trip on the Great Ocean Road. The first part of the road is called the 'surf coast' stretching from Torquay to Lorne where we watched some of the country's best surfing taking place on seemingly endless beaches. Our first 2 night stop was at the lovely Lorne where we were lucky enough to stay in a great log cabin in the mi

Even though the weather wasn't the best the scenery was absolutely stunning. I drove all the way to Warmambool where it started getting dark so I stayed for the night before heading back the same way the day afterwards. The next nig

With Brett back in town we decided to leave TP and her roomies for a few days and drive the Great Ocean Road on the South Eastern coast. The road starts just passed Torquay and winds along the coast and through rainforests for 273km's to Warrnambool. The road was originally built by 3000 returned servicemen as a war memorial for their fellow servicemen who had been killied in the First World War
