Today and yesterday were mildly busy mildly boring. I hope to fill you in tomorrow but for tonight I leave you with some pictures from the last few days and some commentary from William Wilberforce in honor of the elections.I find it necessary to affirm that the problems we face nationally and internationally are a direct result of the decline of faith and morality in our nation.
Today was really early. We had to be at the school for a show at 730. Yikes We did a bit of set up but then I went to the doctor and missed the entire show. For a bit now Irsquove been having some problems with my ears and pressure and things so I thought maybe it was infected. Finally I broke down and got it checked out. Apparently though there is no problem with my era but my nose

Wowohellip Today was quite the day. We got up and headed out of town pretty early on our whopping three hour drive. First though we had to stop in another town for Starbucks since there are NO coffee shops in Rexburg. Once we were fueled up thanks to Kyle for buying we got going. We drove through Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve on the way and it certainly looked lik

Welcome to Rexburg. We did a show at Brigham Young University Idaho which was certainly interesting. Once we finally figured out how to get into the venue we met the crew. Our main contact the only guy wersquove talked to had his last day at work here yesterday. We found out today. Oops. But we have a habit of finishing each others sentences most of our comments end with the other saying ldquoI was just going to say thatrdquo and our thoughts are mighty similar for the most part.
My first trip to Idaho was several years ago to a business meeting at the famous Couer d'Alene Resort and Hotel. I heard many things about the famous island green on their golf course. I also heard awful things about the white supremacists living near the area. I went with mixed emotions not knowing what to expect. Sheri decided not to go so I was on my own. I flew into Spokane and was gree

Yesterday we went on a tour of the Filer area. The Hooleys are great tour guides I must admit. We went and hiked around a local rock formation. Next we saw a local alligator and fish farm. The alligators were huge I believe they grow them until they are pretty large then sell the meat at a local restaurant. We also visited a local spring and fish hatchery. We were able to walk around and

The scenery was very nice today especially around the Salt Lake City area. Going up toward Idaho things get a little more sparse and barren but it is still a decent drive. Life has not been boring though as it sometimes can be when I'm here during the summer months with nothing to do. I ended the last day of my roadtrip by first going off to see the Craters of the Moon national monument. What makes this little spot near Arco Idaho amazing is that there are huge lava fields

A golfer's dream is to enter a golf course that has been or still is a location for the PGA tour. I have played Torrey Pines in San Diego with my dad after placing our golf bags on the deck at 400 am sleeping in the car for an hour and a half in the parking lot just to hear our names called to the tee for a 615 tee time. Three summers ago I visited the home of golf St. Andrews to see Tiger

But the really amazing thing was the wildflowers growing out of that deadlooking black ground. There are 750000 acres of lava that in some places looks as if it was just spewed out of the ground and tilled up in rows. We drove the Sawtooth Scenic byway through Sun V

We saw an eagle in its nest near the Madison River and another atop a tree. Magnificent creatures they are. Idaho is pretty very green with fields of wildflowers. West of Idaho Falls it becomes sage prairie and then grasslands further west. We stopped for the night in
