We arrived in Lugano two days ago and it feels like another country The atmosphere has a totally different vibe to it that is almost more energetic and unpredictable. It is amazing the difference that exists between two cities in Switzerland that are the same distance apart as Houston and San Antonio two cities in just Texas. They speak Italian here so we were fumbling to exchange 'mercis'

Lunch stop in Tirano wandering the small alley ways. Then back on to the coach travelling down the west coast of Lake Como and a stroll along the shores of this beautiful Italian Lake.
What a great weekend I spent this past weekend in Lugano with about 15 other people who decided to stay around the city this weekend. It was fun but also relaxing. On Friday me Allie and Brittany went to the park and played around on the kiddie toys and then just sat and talked in the sun because the weather was so nice. Then we headed back to the Montarina and we all hung out and Brittany and I

Here are some pics that i thought you would like its from around Lugano. Some are of my cozy bungalow from Monica and I's internet cafe adventure and mostly from Jason and Kayleigh's bday extravaganza where we celebrated their 21st by visiting some of lugano's finest bars and then for the grand finale sipped wine by the lake.
The plane ride was quite long 8 hours and I was worried because I donrsquot sleep well on planes but with a plane full of students it wasnrsquot bad at all because we just sat around and talked and watched movies the whole time barely anyone slept on the plane which made it for a rough first 48 hours. When we arrived in Zurich it was beautiful. The weather was cold but not too bad. I at

Today Regina took us on a walk around the lake and to the park. It was good because we became more familiar with the city. I feel that now is a good time to talk about the city.It is in the hills of Switzerland. May I just say that the hills in Switzerland are the size of the Appalachian Mountains. To get downtown you have to walk from the Montarina where I live down a hill to the train tra

The bus drive over was gorgeous and very pretty. The Alps are very pretty. Lots of snow.I saw snow on palm trees. Never thought I'd see that. I didn't even know they had palm trees in Switzerland. Interesting.Very sleepy. When we arrived we had to lug our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. One of mine weighed 60something lbs. Not fun. We then went on a short walk around the city and went
