Rehearsal Week 2

As happy as we all were to be back together the week has been a rough one. Jackrsquos foot which we were until Monday morning we thought was sprained was in fact broken and he returned to us with a HUGE plaster cast. Several company members took turns with a vicious stomach bug. With all the drama we still had to crunch to work out the last couple shows and get them on tape for archives. It

All three of us me Jack and Laura went to Nice Satuday for the morning and afternoon. Nothing too eventful went shopping with Laura Jack sat on the beach and read we did see the silliest Michael Jackson impersonator think dirty Mic Jagger with old ta

Nice was Nice and So Long Sanremo

Flew into Nice. It was lovely. Got my anual beggining of summer sunburn. Took the train to San Remo. Most of the people here all 140 of us are really lovely. There are SO many diffrent accents Don't really have the proper time to describe everything that I've done all the people I've met. Completed the teacher training today and found out I'm off to Milan. I'll be there for two weeks

San Remo is Chaotic

We needed to do some washing so went into San Remo A10 a load wash only. This is bedlam. Cars and scooters darting everywhere so we decided to park the car ASAP. We drove into what looked like a multi level carpark but in front of us was a closed gate then we discovered it was automatic. We had to hop out and the car was taken by machine to be slotted into the car parks. But San Remo is just

Au Revoir France Buongiorno Italia

After several more hours on the expensive toll roads we start to climb up into the hills behind San Remo on the Italian side of the French boarder along a very narrow very windy roadhellipscary. Our little apartment is typical of the others a little maze of rooms with rounded ceilings and white washed walls. I had to do a little housekeeping at first. I think when Nonna fell off the perch the

Vespas

I awoke to the high pitched hum of Vespas buzzing under our hotel window. Africa had the hippo honk as its lullaby Italy the Vespa. Frankie and I slept in both of us exhausted from the travel of the previous days. We were greeted by an overcast day. After a continental breakfast in our hotel morning room overlooking the Mediterranean Sea we drove up the coast towards France then inland t
