May 12 TuesdayFruit for breakfast and on the way after a lazy get ready. Low clouds threatened me with rain much of the day but the most I got was a little light misting. I stopped for a great pulled pork barbeque sandwich somewhere in Arkansas and chatted with a HD guy and the owner for a bit. Later on I stopped to troubleshoot my music hookup because it was driving me crazy with the volu

When I was very young I discovered my desire to travel my appreciation for natural beauty for people who both looked and sounded unlike me. These were the years when my family packed up some of our best clothing including our favorite sandals and swim suits and jetted down to Florida for 5 and 7day cruises. We traveled the Caribbean the Gulf of Mexico and eventually Hawaii. We stayed

It didn't feel like a long time ago but seven years is a long time and the city had changed a little from how we remembered it but it still remains a ci

We are headed to Louisville Kentucky on some free United tickets we got last year when we voluntarily bumped ourselves off of a flight to Washington DC. We do not know what to expect but we hear the Kentucky Derby is the largest party in the world and the most exciting two minutes in sports. We also hear that there is a famous horse race that day as well. I bought two grandstand tickets on eb

My husband and I decided to take one last short trip before the New Year. We decided to try out the 16th largest city in the nation Louisville Kentucky. Because we do not like to stay in the city we googled information on lodging outside of the city. We really enjoy the country and rural environments since we both grew up in the country with fishing and boating and quietness. We discovered a

I apologize for the delay in my writing. After the loss of my camera and bike in September I was momentarily plunged into the shadow of a defeated mentality and lost inspiration to write. I had lost the ability to share pictures with my words and thought that my words alone were probably not enough to keep your attention. This lull in my mood did not beat me but by the time I had regained my

Mischa is now going with me to the farm in new york. The man who owns it wasn't sure how he felt about the both of us coming for a visit but after talking to both of us on the phone he seems to be ok with it. As of now we are aiming to leave by this weekend. I can't even be excited about it because every time we think we have everything done then it turns out we have 5 more things to do or wait o

Packing for this trip was much different than any packing I have done before. Usually it takes me approximately 10 minutes to throw everything I need into some sort of bag but as I will be gone for a couple of mont
