We'll see what happens once I've arrived in Uganda. Kampala probably has decent internet connection but we don't know if we maybe will go somewhere else too. After all the country is big on safaris and hiking...I've completed a dam

We've had our first guests and not only survived but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves The summer of 1982 was significant for me it was the year I got to know a foreigner. That's big stuff coming from a small town. Sure we had an exchange student when I was three but I barely remember Caesar Gomez. Ingrid Andenaes was my first foreign friend and she was exotic in all her tall Nordic beauty

I will say now I wish I were Swedish It's that simple. Okay my judgement may be misguided by the amazing weather I've had all the way up from Copenhagen. Blue sky and 25 degrees all the way with a little chill breeze which makes it bareable cycling but also probably has fooled me into getting an even worse roasting by the sun. But this coastline and the water is one of the nicest stretches I

I spent a few nights in Stockholm doing all the tourist things you have to then I moved on to Goteberg. Stockholm is a very clean city in fact too clean the buildings are beautiful and everything is on islands and so green and grey I guess you

Okay so my second day in Gothenburg was interesting. The snowstorm wasn't as bad but it was still windy and cold. We left the apartment and took the tram to the Central Station. From there we walked around to find that the Chinese place we were going to have dinner at was no longer there. So we saw a few things like the Domkyrkan Mariakyrkan and some statues. I got to see the famous Avenue and

I arrived yesterday in Gothenburg. Angela described it to me as a really large Gamla Stan old city in Stockholm and I think she's right. This means I have so far decided I like Gothenburg. There are trams and busses which reminds me of Brussels. Robin's Dad's apartment has a great view and I can see the bridge that crosses the ocean. Anyway the only hitch in the visit is that there is a snowst
