We took off early to go leaf peeping. We headed East on Highway 9 over to Keene New Hampshire. It's only about 40 miles across the bottom of the Vee of Vermont. That's how I remember which state is Vermont and which is New Hampshire Vermont is shaped like a Vee. The colors were fabulous. Around each corner there were more oohs and aahs.
We're in Vermont We slept in and went out to explore after noon. Crops here are sunflowers pumpkins and corn corn corn. There are many houses here with slate roofs. The town of Bennington is nice and friendly. We were told that the leaves have not peaked yet. They still have a few more days to go to be the best color. As we drove out of town toward the Green Mountains we noticed that ever

Well here I am sitting at my kitchen table awaiting the spring when finally finally I will be able to skip off into the freedom of life where I can finally experience all I've been taught and learn my lessons again in an active adapted fashion. It is so hard to sit and wait being held back by commitments though I love to be learning and engaged in education but how I yearn to be out on th

So I travelled on a greyhound bus and I didn't get beheaded which was a bonus. The bus rolled through Maine Massachusetts through some beautiful tree filled towns at dusk where artists should be walking down streets. Springfield Massachusetts was interesting.
Greetings from homeTravel season is under way and I will be on the road as of September 11th 2008. It's probably not the most festive time to begin a twomonth long adventure through Western NY Syracuse Buffalo Rochester Pennsylvania Maryland and Washington D.C. Regardless there's only 150 High Schools and 20 College Fairs between me and November 15th.It has been a busy week at the

There was the making of over 900 cookies in one morning at my parents Deli at 630 in the a.m. then there was the day long shopping trip to Springfield Mass. which I actually did pretty well on considering that I am not a shopper and of course the copying of the

We got up early this morning and had breakfast in the hotel. Our first stop was Quechee Gorge about 7 miles down the road. Here they call it the little grand canyon. It was a short walk down to the bottom of the gorge where you could swim in the rock pools. Then you walk about a mile up to the other end where a dam has been built its also has a bridge over it half way up so you can get a great

We travelled from Boston to Woodstock Vermont today. It took about 3 hours in our new Orange Jeep. The satnav was a great help as usual. Arrived at The Woodstock Inn Resort at about 3pm just as a wedding was about to take place on the front lawn. Ahhh. We then went for a walk around town its so different from the city a bit like Greyabbey with more class. Its full of little shops to stroll

I arrived to stormy and humid Burlington Vermont yesterday at 1130 Eastern time 830 San Diego time. I had been in flight or in terminal since 8pm the night before. It was a bit of a mess to get to me to the airport I kept holding off on saying my good byes for days. It seemed like a good idea to just keep scheduling time to see friends up until a half hour before I should be checking my bags

Day 6Today we started off again the day in Quechee Vermont. It was nice not having to pack up camp and move on to the next site. We left camp around 9AM and headed toward the Quechee Gorge. That is pretty much all that this town is known for and built around. Since we were there so early we were the only ones on the trail. The trail is 2 miles round trip. We only went a mile down the gorge

Itrsquos good place to who wants to take a rest and see beautiful sight. In your window desktop you can see a picture of the fall in Vermont. Visit Vermont on October the best season.
