Our Trip to Locarno

Today went with some of the Usi students to visit Locarno. Some of us went to the top of the Madonna del Sasso the sanctuary of the Madonna while other people went ice skating. We took a cable car up to the top of the mountain and then spent a few hours up there looking around before we headed down and back home to Lugano.

Last night's fondue trip was interesting to say the least but in a good way. We walked about 20 minutes in a direction where we had no idea where we were going. There was about 12 of us I believe. I was getting a little nervous because I felt that we had been walking forever and had seen buildings start to disappear. I felt like we were in the middle of nowhere almost. Jackie and someone we

This is mostly because we unwittingly took a train ride and then a bus ride towards the middle of south Switzerland nowhere. We started to get a bit nervous when the bus continued to unload passengers at stops that still werent ours.....a gang of tan teenage boys in oversized sunglasses and white tees hopped off followed by women

This will be my most travelled journal entry to date covering 5 cities in 4 countriesNiceFrom Barcelona we got a night train to Nice which was quite a normal train ride. Nice was quite a Nice town on the Cote d'Azur that was famous for its rich lifestyle and Nice beaches. I'm sorry I just have a really unhealthy obsession with the fact that Nice is actually called... Nice. I'm trying my best n

NiceWe had a really relaxing 2 days in Nice checking out the town a bit but spending most of the time on the beach. The beach was great however unlike Australian beaches it was filled with quite large smooth rocks. They were ok to lie on if you had a towel but to run or even walk it was quite painfull so the normal beach activities like classic catches and football had to take a sideline. We
