It was really nice to get out of rainy Seattle.Up on Whidbey the sun was out and birds were singing.We stopped at Ivars for some fish and chips before taking the ferry accross. This little place has been my home base since childhood and provides lots of fun and relaxation. Sunlight Beach faces south onto Useless Bay a wide calm and shallow bay which is perfect for rowing sailing swimming waterskiing funisland lounging and epic seaweed fights. We had pretty good pizza awesome hot chocolate and hit up a few stores. On the way back to the house we stopped off to see rosie the whale and rudy the dall's porpoise. After a relatively short drive I stopped at Pike Place Market in Seattle. Got a mocha at the first ever Starbucks tasted the same and wandered around the shops.
