We left with four friends but had to part at the bus station because there weren't enough seats. However we arranged to meet up that evening in Little India The journey was painless and efficient.
We decided to stop over in Singapore for the weekend on our way to Australia. We had heard lots of good reports about the country and felt it was worth a visit. Our first impressions in Singapore airport were just a taster of what the rest of Singapore was to be like immaculately clean modern and stylish It was a welcome change from the environment we were used to over the previous ten weeks.
We awoke at 3.21 am as we were in the wide awake club an electric storm was illuminating the sky which was spectacular but no rain. When we ventured outside from our air condition bed room the humidity and heat at this time in the morning hit you like a comedy frying pan in the face. An hour later came the rain and boy does it rain.We dozed off to sleep at around 6.00 am and re awoke at 10.

One rainy and clammy Sunday in Singapore and we decided to spend it inside wandering from one big shopping mall to another via underground passages. Love it. In here people are really living 247 so no day offs are in sight. It's just cool to walk slowly wondering how different things can be from them I'm used to. Still I don't experience the difference of the living here as a distracting thing

Nope all clear now lets see if the dogs sniff out the seeds in my multigrain bread. After getting through customs in Malaysia Laura and I spot a man with puffy black hair doing a jig and giving us the thumbs up. Is that Borat
