Orientation

Orientation started today and it was mostly meetings but some of it was really good. We went over why everyone was there and I cried because some people have really meaningful reasons as to why they're here. Then we met with our groups and now some of us are going to watch Wet Hot American Summer to get into camp mode. We met the boys' side counselors and they are just like everyone saidmostly

Yesterday the internet was not working so I couldn't update. Sorry about that. However I can tell you that I spent all day working on the waterfront in the pool with some of the other girls and that was the last day of precamp. Today was a day off and this morning a few of us went to breakfast and then to Skinner's Falls and lay out played card games and chilled. A bunch of other girls who ha

Like I said I've forgotten what day we're on...

I think it's our fifth day of work or something...Anyway last night there was a mad game of Bippity Bippity Bop which Heidi and I taught everyone followed by some Egyptian Ratscrew and the like. Today for work I weeded the backstop of the softball field and a few of us scraped paint and primed the wooden fence by the parking lot. Good times. I also managed to get primer all over myself...Tomorro

Yesterday was our day off which was really nice. We went to WalMart I know I know but it's the only place nearby where we could get the stuff we needed...no Target and got some necessities and then went to Villa Como aka VC's and had some of the greatest pizza. I don't think it was as good as No Anchovies but it was still really good. The setting was freakyvery much like The Shining.

PreCamp and First Day Off

So yesterday basically all day I scraped paint off the steps of the dining hall with a heat gun. Then we sanded them. And since today is our day off we all went to a pub in Hancock which is in NY. There are two different laws regarding bars between PA and NYPA you must be over 21 to be in the bar whereas in NY you can be 18 and be in the bar but still 21 to drink. It was a lot of fun BabyT a

If you thought moving rocks down a hill was fun you'll love what we did today It actually wasn't that bad either. I think they don't want to really tire us out before camp. Bad idea. We moved tarps from the softball field flipped stuff the pool bottom weededraked the volleyball court and then SCRAPED A LOT OF PAINT O Tomorrow we're going to paint half the deck of the dining hall and I
