Today was a fun day We started it with bacon eggs and grilled cheese cooked on the grill. That is Mike39s contribution to the dinner plan. Going into Colorado our the Rig dropped from 8.5 MPG to 8.4 not too bad considering we went from about 300 feet to abou

Recently my teenage daughter begged me to visit the Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison which turned out to be a great experience for us. I drove my daughter and two of her friends to the museum. After carefully maneuvering my van into the tight space of the small parking lot that was as tiny as the museum itself. I didn39t think much was there because of the small building visible from the road howev

Mile high to 1.5 miles high Beaver Creek. Who would have expected this. The light snowfall turned out to be 2 to 5 inches in Denver and 10 inches on the Front Range. The roads were surprisingly treacherous added to which evaporating water from melting snow on the road surface condensed into a thick steamy mist 2m high making visibility only a few metres in places. The pictures tell the story....

My last blog was posted from Helsinki just before boarding my flight to London. Because I wanted this to be my last blog for the trip I forecasted that my subsequent flights home would be uneventful. I admitted to some concern that forecasting the future may result in jinxing the future as fate has a way of wanting to prove us prognosticators wrong.Well the overnight in London went ok...I didn
