It's been a while since we last blogged. I blame it on not being on the bike...It seems we've been doing a lot of 'resting' these days though we've definitely earned our padded bike shorts on the few days where we have been on our saddles. Since San Miguel we traveled through Guanajuato Queretaro Puebla Tlaxcala Hidalgo states to arrive at S'mac's in Huajuapan de Leon Oaxaca. S'mac is Sa

Puerto Escondido is a small surfing town on the Pacific coast. We had an amazing room with an ocean view and private balcony quite an improvement from most of our living arrangements. I spent these few days reading and relaxing while Dana surfed the worldrenowned Mexican Pipeline. For a 2 day side trip we went to Chacawa a very isolated village of lt100 people reached by bus taxi boat th

We were tired and dirty and after catching a cab to the hostel that we booked for the next evening we found it closed up behind large iron gates.
