The weather has eased up a bit by now but it was still really cold. Many of the graves were unknown soldiers of Argentina and there were touching wreaths placed weeks earlier one from Prince Edward when he was over for the 25th anniversary. Only being here for 3 weeks I jumped at the chance and 9am the next morning 5 of us set off in a land rover to make our way to the other side of the islands. We identified one younger couple who would give us a running for youngest on the boatWe met with the group for a tour to Tierra del Fuego PN. There were loads of birds on the West Albatross and cara cara and loads of rock hopper penguins.
