After we had our breakfast which was also free we walked around until we found the tour company that we wanted and by 1100 we were sitting on top of a doubledecker bus seeing Roma It was really cool to have an audio guide to explain the historic significance of a lot of the sights and it was nice to have a chance

We headed to the train station and while we were waiting for our train to Rome we bought our tickets to Switzerland.
41st Day Rome

Today we spent the morning finishing the rest of the optional excursion. This meant a trip to the catacombs along the Appian Way. The Appian Way was a main road used in the Roman times. The catacombs have existed since approximately 100 AD they were made at a time when the Christians were being persecuted as a safe place for Christians to be buried. The graves are all underground they had to do

Today was an absolutely briliant day one of the best days of the trip for me. We started the morning early as usual and drove to Pompeii. We were the first tour group into the place which was fabulous because the place was deserted when usually it is teeming with people. Pompeii was the highlight of the trip for me. It was just astounding the advancement in technology that is evident in a city th

The bar is called Ice Club Roma and it's made entirely of ice the seats the bar the walls even the glasses are made of ice. It was really a very interesting experience. There was a 15 euro entrance fee and you get a drink and use of the capes and gloves. The drinks were top shelf liquor and it was

I had seen lots of pictures of it in school and wanted to see what it looked like in real life. After getting so

We quickly got ready got some breakfastlunch at the pizza kebab place and headed to the Colisseum. I think I might have mentioned this before but we did the whole deal of getting the ticket at the Forum to skip the cue at the Colisseum.
