Zanzibar and Home Again

Well everyone just a note to say that I am back home safe and soundThe trip to Zanzibar was amazing. When we got to the hotel in Paje we had to sit at the restaurant to wait for our room. It wasn't too difficult given the face the restaurant was facing the ocean. We sat on a comfy couch enjoying the soft breeze and green waves. Seriously I don't think Karen or I said anything for a hour. W

3 days

So this weekend I ran some errands around town. I knew exactly where I was going and how long it would take to get there. It's weird to know that in 3 days I will know nothing. It's kind of making me feel anxious. Murr. Last night I packed for a couple of hours.
Day 0 of Road Trip to the Southwest

Winter is here in Overland Park Kansas. We just had over 10 inches of snow last week from a snow storm that hit the whole midwest and northeast. It is time for me to learn from our feathered friends and start the southward migration. I have 2 weeks vacation left from work and not much money left in the bank. So it is an easy choice for me to choose driving than flying. I am so jealous on you M
