After the last couple of days of hanging from ropes and hanging on to chains we felt like we needed to take it slow and see what was around the next corner. It led us to Bryce Canyon National Park. For those of you who are thinking of visiting any parks in the near future let me mention this. On entering Zion National Park the other day we paid a 25 7 day park pass fee.
We managed to drag ourselves to the hotel shower and FALL into bed. Our plan was to get up when we got up and go into the Park and do some hiking. DaveDan was quick to offer his advice on what we should do not that we had conquered the repelling and were obviously talented at being let down into a crevace on a rope that had a tencil strength that we now know could have pulled the titanic out of

Left the Jackson Teton Yellowstone area and headed into Utah destined for Park City and Moab. In route we stopped to tour the Great Salt Lake via Antelope Island State Park. The Great Salt Lake is great and salty... but really its huge looks more like an ocean but is 7x more salty....why so salty you ask....many streams in rivers flow into the lake area but none flow out to the lake accumula

Bloody tyre

Tyre saga continues. The shop in Duchense failed to order a new tube so the guys there and Jim spent a good couple of hours patching and refitting the tyre and wheel. They charged 15 bucks for all of their labour and use of their tools and workshop.Paid up for the pickup rescue minimum charge of 145 and set off on our way again. Up the mountain 100 odd miles later tyre near flat again Sto

Unfortunately we39re not able to access a computer to upload any photos but will do so when we can. I don39t think I can even begin to describe the rock formation so won39t try.
We got a slow start this morning but we enjoyed the easy pace. We ate a light breakfast and headed out for Bryce Canyon Nationl Park. To get there we had to drive through Zion NP and got to enjoy the the views again. We were not sure we wanted to go to another canyon park since we had seen so many and Bryce is only 90 miles from Zion. But we didn39t have anything else on the schedule so we pa
