In the evening Masuo hosted a party at his apartment. The guests were mostly university friends International Relations grad students I think. They were kind enough to attempt conversation with me and I was lucky a couple of them spoke very good English. I tried to tell them a little about New Zealand and they enjoyed the New Zealand wine I'd brought with me. I learned that when drinking in Ja

After a suprisingly late night read my last entry we all ended waking up at 1200PM much to my annoyance. We left the Tobu at 100PM heading to Shibuya the fashionmusic capital of Japan. Arriving in the district half an hour later we were nearly crushed to death by pedestrians at the station crossing one of the busiest in the world after which we decided to grab lunch.
The slightly built Japanese man with the gelled down hair and emo glasses pushed his way through the crowd on his way to the bar. I started a slow drunken chant Fuuuu...ma Fuuuuma Fuuuuma... Kieryn picked up on the vibe and turned to face my victim F to the U to the M to the A she cried waving her hands around in his face. We used the Hikari style bullet train which is most definately the best train journey i've ever experienced. There's a ton of leg room reclining seats AC and you get some of the most amazing views of the mountainous and tree filled Japanese countryside. We got to Tokyo after 3 hours saw
