Just been to see the Snoqualmie Falls and it is very picturesque. There is not a lot there but the atmosphere is very tranquil and well worth a visit. The water fall has a drop of 270 feet and lands in a 65 foot deep pool. There are two hydro electric plants there. The construction of the first was started in 1898 and the second added in 1910. Between the two stations they generate nearly 42000 kw

We camped at Silver Springs last night. The girls and I woke up at 7am and put Dot out and went to the bathroom. Then we went for a walk through the center of the campground where a crystal clear creek flows out of the ground. The girls bellied down to drunk out of the creek. the trees there were bigger than the one in our camp. Maybe 300 years or more in age. We are heading to Seattle to dr

Twin Peaks Bound

We were up early and on our way from Victoria to Snoqualmie Washington. This necessitated a two hour ferry ride between Sidney to Anacortes Washington. The ferry ride was really gorgeous as it weaved between many large islands between Vancouver Island and the US.The drive from Anacortes towards Seattle was smooth but the highway traffic was thick. We didn't get into any mountain driving until
