day 17We awake from a funny onenight stand near Barcelona to face the prospects of the day More driving. And driving. Driving. The expression ldquohauling assrdquo comes to mind. We have to get from Barcelona to the south of Spain to a town called Almeria. To do so we must lovingly zip down Spainrsquos eastern coast seeing the sights in an extreme hurry.Unfortunately I will admit that

day 15

day 15BEST So the cover band of Day 5 reappeared for a performance right in our campsite. French people apparently adore Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. Also Muse is a big deal in France. There were a lot of French couples sitting around on lawn chairs in the drive way mind you rocking out. And it turns out Fast Food can really play. REALLY play. You heard it here first.

The Cabo de Gata Natural Park was so beautifully breathtaking that we had to venture back there twice in less than a year. The first time was in May of 2006 and the second time was with some friends visiting from Germany in November of the same year. The first time we stumbled upon it we hadn't heard anything about the place or knew anyone who had heard of it let alone gone there. We're

We called it our honeymoon vacation because it was just so perfect. We completely spoiled ourselves going out to eat taking naps givingreceiving massages chilling on the beach etc. I feel like we deserved it though because this long dista

We are back in Roquetas de Mar on the Southeastern coast of Spain. We left Sevilla on Sunday with Stella Stefan and our Argentine landlord waving goodbye. It is about a 4 hour drive past Granada and up over a mountain pass that is 1300 meters about a mile high. There is still a fair amount of snow in the Sierra. The east side of the mountains are very dry and as you descend towards Almer

I caught the 1000 bus to Mlaga where I hung out for a couple hours before catching the 100 to Almera. The bus ride was one of the most scenic I've been on so far.
