After 4 really enjoyable days in Budapest it was time to move to our next to Lbuljana stay overnight there pick up a car the next morning and drive into to the Slovenian countryside to Bovec. Well fair to say things didnt start off too well. As it turned out we incorrectly assumed that the train would leave from the main station Keleti the same one we arrived at 4 days earlier from Bratislava

Sampled the amazing Slovenian Alps around Bovec canyoning and hydrospeeding and a little drinking and eating. I recommend the Pink Panter not a typo night clubWe also spent an excellent two nights in the capital Llubjiana. A beautiful city compact but with everything on offer for culture hungry STAGS

Getting Lost In the Alps

I took a 4 hour bus ride last night from Ljubljana to arrive at Bovec a town in the Julian Alps near Italy. Its kind of out of the way but a very popular tourist spot in summer for people with cars. In fact the bus driver was convinced the only reason I was taking the bus all the way there was to see a guyBut I found my waz and a place to stay a room in some woman named Olgas apartment.Toda
