Kusadasi Katakolon and Mykonos

I'm including a few places in this entry because I didn't really do too much there. I actually didn't even get off the ship in Mykonos Greece but I took some great pictures from the ship. A cruise ship is actually and excellent vantage point for landscape or panoramic shots. You're elevated enough and far away enough to get quite a bit. So I have a lot of those kinds of pictures. That's the

The ship is rocking very slightly. I was on top deck when the sun when down and was able to photo the sun going down. the wing was great had to lean against the front of the ship to stay upright and hang on to the rail as you walked.
After working Most of the coast south coast we decided we had better speed up and visit the islands. So planning a route with a few stops on the east coast of the Peleponnese with the finally destination being the Capital Athens. I wonrsquot go deep into details about the other attractions of this journey so as not to bore. So just one I will mention Dira Caves. These were amazing I don't thi

Mykonos i think one of our favourite places. Getting there we decided to camp at paradise beach. here is definately where we realised it was a gay island naked people old and young all on the beach showing their guts i mean packages haha off. and then at 5 going to check out tropicana bar and finding everyone dancing in their cossies men and women all shapes and sizes all having the tim

Today we slept in and after buying Robyn some Greek sandles took a bus to Ornos beach. We had intended on going to Elia Beach but we missed the 2PM bus and the next bus there wasn't until 4PM so Ornos it was. We were plesently surprised with the beach. The sand is nothing like the beaches in Hawaii not quite fine enough but it was excellently equipt with sunbathing beds and wooden umbrella sha

We got up around 10AM and made the last boat over to nearby Delos. This island is famous for being the remains of the once Sacred Greek town which was unspoiled by the Romans as they abandoned the island. Walking around it reminded me of a Greek version of Pompeii. Beautiful mosaics preserved of Dyonises and another of Dolphins. We summated Mt. Kynthos for sweeping views out onto the sea and nearb

Today we slept in late and boarded our ferry for Mykonos around 1030. When we arrived we met a nice lady who offered us a room and really nice as well a ride as we arrived in the New Port which is far away from the center of Mykonos Town. The room is a great price for the location a 5 to 10 minute walk from the center of Mykonos town located by the famous windmills with a sea view and a b

Did not get the sunburn from partying though but visiting the island of Delos to see some more ruins and the birthplace of the greek gods Apollo and Artemis.
Alright everyone everything you hear about the Greek Islands is pretty much true they are absloutely gorgeous. I left Athens 2 days ago for Mykonos and it's been great. I left reeeeeeally early as I got some bad advice from the tourist office and was told to just show up at the port without a ticket an hour early. When I told that to the guy working at my hostel he said You don't have a tick

Mykonos

Mynokos was a great place to end our holiday. Although our first impression was not so good. The cabins we stayed at at Paradise beach was not really a cabin but a permanent tent consisting of 4 walls 1 window 1 door and 2 little beds. Compared to a beach hut it was awful but compared to camping in a tent it was great It was quite hot and stuff inside but everyone spent all their time outside.

Hey from Mykonos Island Wow. I could easily live here forever. It's absolutely beautiful... The night of my last entry I met up with my Contiki group in Athens and we all went out for a tradtional Greek dinner in the Plaka downtown and it was a good way to meet everyone and hopefuly try to learn everyone's names. After dinner we did a bit of a pub crawl and by the end of the night there was

It really wasn't as bad as it seems because we curled up in our cozy sleeping bags on the deck and slept most of the way there. We did end up arriving at 4 am however and contrary to BC ferry's the

Flying over Athens the city looked beautiful with red tile roofs and small cobble walkways. Upon closer inspection the city is not quite as quaint. Bustling and congested it boasts the worst traffic in Europe. However the lack of charm is quickly made up for in the beauty of its people and the depth of its history. Athens is dripping in history. Some say Greece is the the lost Atlantis. Meeting u

After we left the coliseum we returned to our hotel to catch the bus to the cruise ship the drive through the country side was very scenic. Check in on the ship went smoothly and w
