                    <description>Well my time in the arctic is quickly coming to an end for yet another year.  I can't believe Iwe will be leaving here in a little over a couple of weeks.  Mind you Michael will be heading back to Ottawa in late September for a couple of weeks and then back here to Iqaluit in early October until December.                     <title>Sunny days in Iqaluit</title>
                    <description>Hello thereI hope everyone is having as nice as summer as we are here in Iqaluit.  Since arriving on June 21st I can actually count the days on one hand that have been rainy or cloudy.  The temperature today is supposed to get up to 23 C yet again.                     <title>Happy Nunavut Day</title>
                    <description>We just keep celebrating throughout the month of July.  We ended up celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nunavut Day here on July 9th.  Michael and I enjoyed this day together.  The morning started with a pancake breakfast served by members of the Legislature namely our Premier Eva Aariak.                     <title>Happy Canada Day</title>
                    <description>Happy Canada Day everyone  This day turned out to be yet another sunny day yikes I can't believe how nice the weather has been here since I arrived.  I watched the Canada Day parade which was mostly of emergency vehicles and about 3 or 4 floats.                     <title>hike at Slyvia Grinnell Park</title>
                    <description>On Saturday I went for a walk with another new buddy Denise.  We took a cab to the start of the Sylvia Grinnell Park trail and then proceeded to walk and talk and take pictures.                     <title>out on the land</title>
                    <description>It was wonderful to finally land on the Iqaluit airstrip.  Michael along with are old friends Don and Karen Tattrie as well as a couple of his coworkers from Arviat Jason and Alison all met me at the airport.                     <description>Well I am finally on my last leg of the journey to Iqaluit.  I didn't get much sleep last night.  I think it was because of the 3 hour time change.
