First order of business is Shakespeare's Globe Theater which is short one block walk from our Bankside House. We enjoyed the exibition and tour of the Theater. Next we went to the pier and took the clipper ship down the Thames to the London Bridge and the Tower of Londin.
Our flight from Portland was delayed long enough to make us almost miss connections in Philadelphia. We needed to walk from C wing to A wing. Even with people movers it was a long way and we arrived at the gate for London flight just in time. The London flight was long and I didn't sleep much mostly read. At last we arrive at Gatwick Airport and a blue badge guide collects us on to a coach fo

Every day is so full here I've decided to just write for now about one great day we had last Thursday. We decided to visit two great art museums the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern and we took advantage of the TatetoTate boat service to travel along the Thames in between.First up was the Tate Britain which focuses on British artists. I particularly like the Victorianera painters the Pre

I've been hanging out with Mehdi almost every other day. I'll just go to his place for dinner and he cooks and we chat. It's been nice. We run into each other on the train on the way home from school today. After a comfortable silence that lasted a few minutes he invites me over for dinner again.Oh no I can't tonight I begin trying to word it carefully. I sort of want him to know that I'm go

London Day 1

The flight went very smoothly and most of the students seemed to sleep quite well.
The Andy Warhol Other Voices Other Rooms exhibition at the Hayward was a laugh. My first impression was that we were the willing subjects of an extended pisstake and that the joke was on us....ha ha very funny mofoAs my fellow art critic Tash and I moved around the gallery it seemed to me that 'satirist' was a suitable endgame for Androwski Warholi whose artistic evolution took him through
