Five days in the English Countryside

Our original plans were to spend two nights in Nottingham one in Manchester and catch a Manchester United soccer game and one night in London. Our main goal was to NOT spend all of our time in London but to venture out and see the country side. Apparently this was a good plan but the way we intended to go about it was not the best idea. We were talked out of Nottingham by everyone with whom

It is my last week at work and I can not believe how time flies. I am already starting my goodbyes which is pretty sad. I will miss all my friends and family over the next 6 months and no matter how adventurous you are you are bound to feel homesick at some point. However with these goodbyes I am also looking forward big 'hellos' as I am seeing two of my bestmates who are currently in Austral

Neither really interested in them though.

Dale and I went on a lovely weekend away to Bristol timing had it that we were there for the annual Hot air balloon festival. Dale and I sat in the beer tent enjoying the hot hot sun we cheered when we heard there were two kiwis flying in the team of nine. On the city bus tour we went for a drive

We are now packing in earnest. Having serious phone conversations about sandal straps and the relative merits of facial suncare products. Or rather I am not packing I am writing. And there are lightcoloured clothes strewn all over the faded black floorboards of the spare room. The window is open.
so here are more pictures from Scotland. From Stirling I when to Pitlochry and spent a few days there which is about 15 miles from Glenvalley Lyon and River Lyon. I was able to see the river but the Glen was to far and the bus didn't go that far and I was pressed for time. I had to load the pictures twice so I don't have time to give a lot of commentary.more to comecheers.
