Ladies Day At Royal Ascot

Ascot is all week but by far the best day for fashion is Ladies Day. Ladies wear show stopping hats and dress to impress. This is my favorite day of Ascot. Everyone drinks Pims Cups and had a great time.

Opening Day Royal Ascot

We always have an amazing time at Ascot. The Queens horse racing event is a fantastic fashion show. This year everyone was buzzing about the stict dress code and how they were going to enforce it more now for the Royal Enclosure. Everyone looked great and we all had a wonderful time even though we didn't bet on the right horses.

Great days out always start the night before. The night before Ascot Zarina Rich and I went to Regents Park to the Taste of London. This is a festival that started about three years ago. All of the great restaurants in London congregate and sell tapas sized portions of their food. It is a great way to try different kinds of food and drink great wines and champagne without committing to one r

Its that time of year again..time for a vacation and where else but sunny old England. Contrary to popular belief England can actually have very nice weather and this past week has been no exception. 039not quite as hot as I'm used to but nonetheless sunny enough to warrant shorts for a large number of people I pass on the street. 4 legged puppy had to stay in Costa Rica for this trip and appa

Well time has come to face up to the fact that the dream is over and real life has to take over again.Lots of questions remain unanswered but even more have been answered. Life all of a sudden becomes more real and seems to make a hell of a lot more sense. Things seem to be put in to perspective. Don't know what I am talking about Try taking a period of time out of normal every day life and take

As some of you may know we are now home. .......or at least back in the UK.We had a fantastic trip but we did cut it short. We decided to come home as I was home sick and had had enough of being part of this machine that is tourism.... I became very jaded with the whole thing and needed to come home and feel more grounded. Living out of a suitcase for 6 months is hard work and when you are a fami

Day 1The day started off with a moody text message recieved from Ben.... James was a little worried thinking he had stirred the beast. Fortunatly it was a lack of communication between the two and it turns out Ben thought James was comming over to help him decorate his Grannies house and James thought Ben was busy with his grannie... to much despair Ben had carried on and muscled on without Ja

Hello everyone Another week has passed so we're now one week closer to our next halfterm break. There's nothing exciting happening at work other than we've started negotiating a possible contract for next year just in case we decide to come back. But we went into London for the day yesterday with our housemates and visited Madame Tussauds wax museum. It's amazing how realistic the wax figures
