Talk about a struggle after numerous months and numerous resubmissions my visa has finally arrived After submitting all my paperwork before July 4th and resubmitting a medical clearance form I assumed that my visa was finally being processed. I had proof my forms were all delivered and I had everything turned in so I waited 4 weeks without hearing a thing about my visa. I called to check on

Well after nearly 24 hours of traveling we made it home safely. My oldest sister Vanessa greeted David and me at the Portland Airport. She kindly refused to hug me as my cough reminded her that I have been sick. The longest leg of our three flights was from Hong Kong to Los Angeles. It was 12 hours long. Did I say it was long David watched five movies including Kick Ass Iron Man

Last night on the drive to Jas' place I had felt awake but the 3 hrs of sleep and a few catnaps the previous night were taking their toll.
We finally arrived at the Church Conference and began to acquaint ourselves with the city and the hotel started right off the bat meeting people that we have known through the years. It was a week to inspire one with a life being lived with God in the midst of our circle. We saw people through the week that we had grown up with people that we thought we would never see and yet here we were see

This was the first sunny Saturday in Oregon for awhile now and we were excited to get out of Portland for the afternoon. We had a gift certificate for Herloom Roses and thought that today would be a good day to use it. It was a short drive down to exit 278 on I5 and about 12 miles off the main drag.Just opening the door to the car caused the sweet smell of the roses to jump into our noses... Emma

Well we survived last night in Silver Lake Washington and awoke to a brand new day. We planned on going up to Mount St. Helens and then over to the lava tubes. Before we could head out Tim had to settle up with the owners and decide which route to take. It didn't take him long to route a course for us and we were soon on our way. Not long into the drive everyone starts yelling for breakfast. Th

I didn't know that my improptu weekend explorations during my college years would turn into a serious hunger for travel but they have. Most of my travel has been on the North American continent. In December 2002 I made my first foray to Spain and Portugal. On the plane ride back I was already plotting my next trip Happily that trip is quickly approaching. I will be in Sicily for two weeks
