Hertfordshire

Our day started our kind of late. We decided to go to Capel Manor Gardens. It was a little further away but Joey offered to drive. It took us a lot longer to get there than it was to return because our GPS was set to pedestrian so it avoided the highways. Whoops The main reason why we wanted to go to this garden was because it had a maze which is something Joey and I really wanted to do.

Going Going...

In just under 2 weeks time I'll hopefully be on a plane on my way to New Zealand via Hong Kong. Only that 'via' is a 3 day stopover with many a guided tour to keep me occupied I should mention I fly out with a group of other backpackers I'm not that much of a loser to get a guided tour of Hong Kong on my lonesome. Once the tours are up the destination is Auckland on New Zealand's North Isla

I am sleeping about 6 hours without waking up now so I think it's a good thingThe past few days have been quite busy. I had a relatively easy week just hanging out with the kids. I took the bus to their school stop on Thursday just to practice. Dave took me with the

I have been pretty much laying low for the last few days really getting acquainted with St. Albans and the daytoday life of the locals.I did get some great shots of the lakes as it's called basically a Central Parktype area that surrounds St. Alban's Abbey an absolutely beautiful cathedral in the middle of town. These were Gary's old stomping grounds so he took me to one of his friends

Today was the first of two wedding ceremonies for Gary's friend Jas his bridetobe Rhina. I guess for one reason or another the government does not recognize the Indian religious ceremonies so the couple had to go to a Town Hall of sorts in order to legally marry. The real ceremony if you ask me is on Sunday. The ceremony was pretty short maybe about 45 minutes but the family were out
