First there was no air conditioning and second our second floor window opened just above the square with folks walking drinking and even singing the night away. In Vienna we prayed for hot weather and now got our prayers answered. It was about 90 degrees in our ro

Had another great day. We had breakfast with our new friends from Boise Idaho then hit the open road. We did not really have much of a plan. We headed to BadenBaden. Managed a few minutes on the autobahn.
It rained and it rained and it rained overnight. Like last year we left a hot summer in England just to endup with rain. It did mean that it was quite cool first thing in the morning so it was good conditions to go for a run and see some more of Baden Baden. The parkland along the river was lovely and there were some great views around the town.I went back to some points with the camera later to

The French Roads Were Quick and Empty But at a Price

We left at 5.00am in order to make sure that we had ample time to get to Dover to catch our 8.15am ferry allowing for predictable roadworks and other issues on the M25. Respect to Sea France in that they sent us a text letting us know about some roadworks on the M20 so warning us to allow some extra time to get there. In the end we got there with plenty of time to spare which meant that
