I just weighed my baggage and I am pretty surprised. Currently it is only 199kg for my diving baggage so I can load additional 10kg of cloth. Only the weight of my hand baggage is as already expected double of the weight allowed

There is only one week left and I am starting to get flustered. Last weekend I took the first time my diving luggage and tried to pack it. With all my clothes it seems to get really packed. I also started to panic because could not find the flat port for my unterwater camera equipment. Suddenly I found it in the luggage from my last vacation last year Okay this week I ll have to do some washin

Ever tried travelling on crutches I did. It requires some logistics and is exhausting but it works. And I was glad to get moving again. The first Saturday in September I travelled to Bonn to see my friends Katrin Simone and Anke. I went by train and as I needed my hands for my crutches I took two backpacks for my luggage and carried one in my front and one in my back. My friends picked me up

Our journey to Freiburg was a rainy train ride but that didn't dampen the beauty of Autumn in the Black Forest. Once we arrived it was a quick tram ride to Charis and Yalany's apartment where we met Ingo and his trusty companion Cappuccino. They all welcomed us with open arms and a delicious homemade pizza was soon to follow. The next day weary from our travels Ingo took us to a traditional h

We decided that we really should at least try to see some of Germany on our way home as we drove through both the northern part and the sout

I arrived in Freiburg this afternoon and was met by my local hosts. We went and had a nice lunch and then I took a long deserved nap after not sleeping most of the night. The hotel is a little strange there is a shower in the room but no toilet. I've had worse in South America but it is an interesting concept. Freiburg itself is a very nice town with some impressive buildings and the su
