Well we really need to think about leaving Formentera soon so that we can be in the UK for ChristmasThe weather became cooler in November and we had two days of torrential rain but we still have had some lovely beach walks on fine mild days around 17 to 21 degrees. We have run out of mosaic tiles to complete the latest project so it will have to wait until we come back next year to finish it

Det viser sig at mange nyder det aktive om dagen p cyklerne i kombination med bridgen der spilles om aftenen. Set i lyset af dette besluttede vi os for at udbygge konceptet bridge og cykelt

Taking the decision of buying a holiday house involves a complex analysis of various factors. Choosing the place would be the first and most important since there are cases when we know the place from the beginning or cases when we just know we would love to have a holiday house but havent yet decided about the place.Spain is one of the favorite destinations for tourists during holidays fact t

Day 1 Ibiza to GironaCant believe the day has finally come for us to leave our lovely little Ibizenco abode to head for not so sunnier climates and pastures new. The sun has come out for us for one last time and the only downside to the start of our day is the fact weve had to get up at the unsightly hour of 7.30am. I look and feel like an extra from Sean of the dead whereas Greg seems

So for the last ten weeks we have stayed on Formentera. And apart from eating out going to the beach studying Spanish Derek has done some stained glass work and I have done some mosaicing. The weather has been fantastic it39s so good to be outside all the time we can eat outside breakfast lunch and dinner. We cycle everyday and the car only comes out when we go out at night to a restau

Ibiza Spain

We finished up Ireland on Sept 19th. After the beautiful town of Dingle Ireland we moved on to Kinsale Ireland. Another gorgeous place. Right on the Seaside as they would say. Met up with Mike and Marg and Jackie in Kinsale. They had gone off to Killarney but my book friend Rick Steves said to go to Killarney was like going to Arkansa. Not sure why that comment but it was enough to take a pass.

We have loved it but we have been there some time awaiting crew and the dissipation of the mistral that had been blowing so hard from the north.
Palma del MallorcaThis morning exploded with color as we sailed into Palma the capital city of the Balearic Islands. Out catamaran tour was cancelled due to low interest so we were on our own. The Queen Victoria docked just after us. She is a stately and elegant vessel about twice our size and she can maneuver her way to the pier like a rowboat. There was a conspicuous lack of visitor information

One of the reasons I keep returning to Menorca time and time again is the nightlife. The variety of pubs clubs and music venues is absolutely fantastic. And thankfully these places are lively without stooping to a scene you might see in the Inbetweeners Movie or Sun Sea and Suspicious Parents Anyway here are some of my favourite places to wind and down and relax with my friends.Caves of Xoro

Having lived here last year we thankfully know our way around this time and so it only takes us ten minutes to find the hotel instead of an hour like it did last year. The hotel is pretty basic but our room is quite big and will definitely do until we manage to sort something else out. The only downside is that the swimming pool has no water in it but that doesnt really bother us as we have

Menorca Mayonnaise was invented in Menorca and a traditional cheese made on the island fromage de Mao is named after the city. It has more beaches than Mallorca and Ibiza combined. It has had an adventurous history based on it39s position in the middle of the Mediterannean. Mahon has the second deepest natural harbour in the world 5 km long and up to 900 metres wide. The water is deep but i

We regretfully had to check out of El Vistamar this morning. After one final breakfast one final session of stuffing of stolen treats into Rachs handbag and one more demolition on the pool table we left our Majorca paradise and waved goodbye to Tomeus. Armed with a Google search of Majorcas best beaches we proceeded to visit SAmarador Beach a quiet little beach paradise hid

After breakfast and pool and stealing more treats for the roadtrip we collected our keys and excitedly exited the hotel with anticipation of the what the day shall bring. However a problem arose straight awaywhat does our car look like One would have thought theyd park it right out the front rig
