We caught 5 tuna a Dorado and a swordfish on our trip to Tobago. We saw a 400 pound Leatherback Turtle lay her eggs on the beach. The turtle crawled up on the beach dug a hole in the sand layed her eggs disguised the egg location and then swam out to sea.

There I said it. It was a lot of fun though. The group of us took the ferry which I had a great time on drinking... like always. Most people spent the entire 3 hours puking in the sinks and

I lost the original text for this entry. I am sad about thisWayne and I spent a day diving in Tobago. We saw lots of lovely things. We went for 'local food' for our lunch. I had crab and dumplings. The dumplings were pasty white slime things the crab was almost whole and uncracked covered in a scanky brown sauce. When I asked how to get to the meat the answer was with my teeth. It meant we got rid of our bags nice and early so didnrsquot have to worry about them all day. We then had our final swim in the sea and showered before checking ou

An early breakfast was required as we had an early pick up from the dive centre. The boss arrived in his pickup truck and headed to the centre the driver chatted away. He asked Wayne if he liked driving and if he could drive. The next thing we knew he had pulled over and given Wayne the keys telling us to take ourselves to the centre as he lived just here and it would save him the need for a t

Our car arrived in the morning a good looking Nissan saloon with fantastic air conditioning and absolutely NO petrol Mission 1 to find one of the 8 petrol stations on the island and fill up. This was fairly easy as 6 of all 8 petrol stations were within easy reach of the resort. We then looked at the map possibly the most useless map ever and decided to do a round trip of the island. Next we went to Flag Staff Hill one of the highest points of Tobago where you could see the Carribean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. It was beautifully clear.
We got up quite early and went out on the glass bottom boat We went all the way to Little Tobago a much much smaller island which is also a bird sanctuary. When we got there we snorkelled off the beach and saw some quite nice fish and brain corals. We saw a massive brain coral too the biggest in the Western hemisphere. It was over 2000 years old. Next we went to the Angel Reef on the boat. W

We went down to beach where some more fishermen were fishing. Parlatuvier is quite a fishing community because there is a jetty and lots of small fishing boats at the end. We then went to a little store t

We got up quite early and went too the Argyle waterfall. It was very nice. We got there and there were three pools. We started in the lower pool which was very shallow then got REALLY deep. It was very refreshing to swim over the 20ft deep pool to reach the waterfall itself and take a revitalising shower. Next we moved to the middle pool and had another swim. It was much smaller and shallower but

This morning we went to Bloody Bay beach. The river runs into the sea there when the tide comes a bit further in and I spotted an abandoned bamboo raft. We were only there for about 15 minutes and walked up the beach then split to drive down the Caribbean coast. We stopped at a Roti shop and I had a vegetable Roti which was lush and we sat on Stone Haven beach underneath a poisonous Manchine

I kept seeing signs on the Atlantic side which warned of the Portuguese Man O'War Jellyfish. But I wasn't worried about these. I was more concerned about the Barracudas As soon as we got too Charlotteville we went in search of a recommended cappuccino caf. We found it and I had a delicious w
