After spending the night on Khao San Road we got up and went down the street to get breakfast. Then we were to set off for Ko Samet Samet Island We knew to get to Koh Samet we needed to take a bus from the Eastern bus terminal Ekkamai and that the easiest way to get to the bus station was via the skytrain. On the first evening we went for some food at a place called Jeps on the beach under some trees which was amazing I've never eaten something so hot that my eyes as well as my nose were streaming but it tasted so amazing that I kept going until it was al

Saturday March 7So after a bustling week in Thailand me and my friend Dan New Jersey headed for the beach. My friend Tisha's aunt owns a place on one of the beaches on the island but we couldn't get a room for our first night there so we had to just hope that we would get a place. Our bus would leave at 830 so we had to get up at around 700. Apparently my friend had too many drinks from the n

Ended up finding one at the Lost Resort up the hill but a very short walk. It's about 4 hours from Bangkok. The island itself is a national park so its pretty touristy but the beaches were beautiful We got there Friday night around 7 and ate dinner on mats on the beach and watched the stars It was

Koh Samet is a national park of great natural beauty in the Rayong province not so far from Pattaya and Bangkok. But the close distance is probably the only thing this island has in common with the other two. Ko Samet has fabulous beaches but a minimum of night life bars and
