I arrived i mexico on the 22nd at around 300 I had a good flight and there were usually people to help me along for free aside from one guy who wanted a tip and took me to the wrong place.
Hey everyoneWell I know this update is extremely late. I have a lot of good news and some bad news. Things have been picking up fast at the Anglo and Boulanger as the end of the year roles around test preparation and testing as well as submitting final grades. Each school has also been inviting me to some social events for the Christmas season dinners gift exchanges etc. All of this together

Hey all Welcome back after a short break. A lot has happened since my last entry so here we go. I have been working 8 hours a week at the Instituto Boulanger. This is not enough to support me here still but has been a good learning experience and provides a bit of money. The good news is the Anglo is going to hire me. The bad news is we have to wait for my Visa to come which takes 30 work day

Moving along

Hello again Sorry about the delay on this post I have been a bit busy. Well after three weeks here I have landed one job at a high school. The job pay is pretty low and the hours are few but it is a start. The classes are only 4 students each so I hope they can really improve their English with such small class sizes. I have also been in contact with a nonprofit English language group called

Hey Guys So after almost two weeks I am starting to get into the swing of things. The internet in my apartment is spochy so I have to go down to the common area to use it. My room is clean but a bit boring with the empty white walls. From my windo I have a view of mountains volcanoes and a skyscrpaer that is part of a mall. The tower itself seems to be empty and more just for show rather than act

We made it to Puebla early Sunday evening and met up with Jerry a local who agreed to host us through the hospitalityclub website. It is a beautiful city with a rich history in cookery and craftsmanship. Puebla is one of the larger cities in Mexico and has an enormous Volkswagen plant which we saw from the road on our way in.Jerry took us to his house where he lives with his parents and sibli

Hi A few years ago when I was a student in my last travel I went to Puebla Mexico. Puebla is one of the important cities in Mexico and it has many attractions such as tourism food archeologic zones history. Also Puebla is an industrial city. However the security is good so you dont have to worry. You can walk relaxed in the street and look around.Puebla is a beautiful city and it has fasci

We leave the very nice BB hotel Casa de la Tia Tere this morning and head to the toll road to Puebla. It is every bit as nice as we heard the toll roads are wellpaved wellmarked not much traffic and safe. We see the occasional Policia Federal but mostly enforcement of speed limits is by radar which translates to not applicable to us since we have Honduran license plates and there is absolut

I began my vacation around other parts of Mexico this weekend planning to see Puebla Taxco Oaxaca and Mexico City. The flu scare has made that a little difficult...The media coverage of the flu is a little overblown. That said with the way things are going here it's been hard to tell and we are taking precautions. We rented a car instead of taking buses and are wearing the masks and stay
