A late start again and we were in no hurry to rush out into the streets again. We had to repack our back packs and that takes around hour just to organise what you need to get you through the night train. It made was made worse by the room being so small and we really couldnrsquot spread things out. Off to Kapitanrsquos for breaky at 1130 and we had some prathra bread and curry dipping sau

We can confirm that Malaysians don't begin their day as late as the average Thai and they make far more noise in this train at least A gaggle of bubbly veiled women shout and laugh from 5.30am until we reluctantly rise. There's a lovely guy looking after everything including bringing us a flask of boiling water to make drinks Border formalities at 10am are easy although they take our temperat

3162009 MondaySo after nearly a week in Siem Reap Cambodia I headed to Malaysia where I would first visit my friend Yee Chea and her family in Pulau Penang which is an island just off the Northeast coast of Malaysia.
From leaving Koh Tao by boat the next couple of days were spent travelling. We caught a three hour boat to Chumpon in Thailand. The boat ride was great and as there were only a handful of people on it we got the best seats in the house or on the boat if you like......for free The weather was warm and as we reached Chumpon the pace slowed and we left the sea and sailed through a fishing river.
After a fairly late and drunken evening we dragged ourselves out of bed at 8am finished our final packing and started the hike to the pier. The boat journey was not one of our favourites but after almost 6 months we were accustomed to travelling with a hangover. We arrived in Krabi at 10.30am and boarded a minibus for a town further south nearer the Malaysian border. As usual Me and Ollie were
